Marker
A marker is a tool used for designating a fishing spot. It comes in several forms:
Throwing marker - this type of float not only marks the fishing area but can also be used to check the depth of the water or the type of bottom...
Tying marker - a material that is tied onto the line after casting the rig into the fishing spot. The marker indicates the distance at which the rig is located from the shore.
Pole marker - tubes twisted together and weighted with a sinker used for marking a fishing area. The pole marker is very safe as fish do not get entangled in this type of marker.
Retractable marker - also known as an H marker, used for temporarily marking a fishing spot.
