JRC Product Ltd.
JRC Company was founded in Hatfield Peverel, Essex in 1992 by David Rudin, William Jelbart, Jeffrey Powell, and John Campbell, initially specializing mainly in the production of carp beds. The success of the Cocoon single bed designed by Jeff Powell, and the subsequent famous lightweight low-profile Stealth bed, encouraged the owners to further expand the offer, and at the beginning of the 2000s, products such as the STI Brolly, Terry Hearn Cocoon Bedchair, and Quad and Skyliner rods appeared in JRC's offer.
In 2007, the company was acquired by Shakespeare / K2 and relocated to Redditch, Worcestershire, where it joined the portfolio of brands owned by Pure Fishing Inc.
