Balanced boilies are hookbaits that, due to their slight buoyancy, behave more naturally on the bottom, which often makes them an effective weapon when targeting cautious fish. The weight of the hook itself counterbalances the bait, which to some extent negates its mass, significant when carp cautiously suck in the bait. Balanced Boilie balls are made with the same mixes as the classic hookbaits, supplemented with the addition of a floating mix in the right proportion. This procedure does not significantly change their composition, which is especially important when hunting very cautious fish.
