A boilie dough gun is a tool that streamlines the process of making boilies. Boilie dough guns commonly have a chamber where the dough is placed, a pushing system that moves the dough forward, and a nozzle with an opening diameter selected based on the size of the boilies being made.

Types of Boilie Dough Guns

There are many solutions on the market for obtaining dough rolls. They usually differ in the push mechanism and capacity. The most popular are manual dough guns, which have a plunger that is pushed towards the nozzle by muscle power through pressing on a special rod attached to the handle. A considerably less tiring and more efficient option is the pneumatic dough gun, whose plunger is driven by compressed air - such a solution is especially popular among carp anglers who produce large quantities of boilies during the season.

An important component is the gun nozzle, responsible for achieving the correct diameter of the dough rolls from which the boilies are rolled. The rule for obtaining perfectly round boilies is to make rolls with a diameter about 20% less than the diameter of the boilies being made.
