Boilie Rolling Tables
A rolling table is an essential tool for any carp angler who handcrafts their own boilies. It ensures that you get perfectly round boilies, which is crucial for baiting with a spod rod from the shore and has generally become the standard shape for this type of bait. Rolling tables come in various diameters to produce everything from small 10mm boilies for spring fishing to large 30mm boilies for big, deep venues.
Types of Boilie Rolling Tables
A boilie roller available on the market typically comes in either a manual or a mechanized (electric) version.
A manual boilie roller consists of two separate parts, each featuring grooves of the same diameter. You place a sausage of the bait mix of the appropriate diameter on one of the parts, then apply and press the other part against it, and perform rolling actions - this creates perfectly round boilies.
An electric boilie roller usually has a mechanism of two rollers that turn in opposite directions, powered by an electric motor. The electric version is mainly used by carp anglers who produce large quantities of boilies throughout the year.
