Kolibri KM-260 CM Catamaran
The Kolibri catamaran is a high-class watercraft that, thanks to its unique design, is extremely stable and yet suitably maneuverable. The catamaran encounters less resistance while sailing because it has a smaller surface area in contact with the water compared to a standard pontoon. This results in noticeable fuel savings for gas engines or battery life for electric motors. The deck space on the catamaran is significantly larger compared to a classic pontoon, which allows for more comfortable performance of all activities related to baiting or fishing, as well as accommodating more equipment during crossings. The side tubes are divided into chambers (2 per side) with new bravo-type valves, improving safety during use. Additionally, one chamber in each side is equipped with safety valves to protect against excessive internal pressure. The Kolibri catamaran is easy to steer whether using an engine or oars—such design is much less prone to uncontrolled course changes while sailing. This model features upgraded thwarts, which greatly facilitate assembly and disassembly while also looking better. The reinforcing joints of the oar tubes have also undergone a "lift," now they are easier to install as they utilize a "click-on" mounting system. A robust transom made of waterproof plywood, and two benches with adjustable spacing, allow for the most comfortable positioning to ensure comfort on deck. The pontoon’s floor is quite spacious due to the absence of tubes in the front part of the catamaran, made from waterproof plywood with aluminum profiles and non-slip finish.
