UnderCarp Lead for Marker and Bottom Exploration

A specially designed lead that allows us to determine the type of bottom in our fishing spot when casting. After casting into the fishing area and dragging along the bottom, we will obtain all the necessary information, such as the hardness of the bottom, the type of surface (gravel, sand, silt), or the possible presence of vegetation. With this lead, we can also preliminarily estimate the contours of the bottom or exclude the presence of snags. The lead is finished with a highly textured coating, which will capture fine bottom vegetation or silt that will remain on it until the lead is reeled in to the shore. This provides additional information about the characteristics of the bottom that we would not receive using leads with a smooth finish. The special shape of the lead allows for long-distance casting, especially with the 120g model.

Tip: To obtain the most detailed information regarding the type of bottom, it is advisable to use a braided line as the main line in your marker and exploration rod.
