Strategy Pole Position KD-Rig
The KD Rig might be less known, but it's an incredibly effective leader that can outsmart the wiliest of fish. The hair on this rig "exits" the hook shank just behind the eye, which makes the hook behave more aggressively during the take. Moreover, this particular rigging minimizes the risk of unwanted bream bites or other nuisance fish. The rig is tied using the popular, soft Pole Position Silk Trap braid and the Gamakatsu PTFE Snagger hook with a narrow bend and curved shank. The rig is suitable for both sinking and floating baits. Remember that when using a pop-up bait, you should place a lead shot on the hair beneath the bait.
