Korda Basix Hair Rig Wide Gape Barbless - Ready-Made Carp Rig
A set of two ready-made carp rigs with barbless hooks from the BASIX series, which thanks to their universal design will prove effective in many situations by the water. The rig is made from Basic Coated Hooklink braid, with the last few centimeters before the hook stripped back – guaranteeing a natural bait presentation and enhancing the rig's efficiency. Using the Basix Wide Gape Barbless hook ensures a good and effective lip hold due to its wide gape and specially profiled eye. A small piece of silicone tubing placed on the hook shank positions the hair, which reduces the risk of tangling during casts. The rig is equipped with an anti-tangle sleeve, which is compatible with size 8 QC swivels used in ready-made leaders such as the Basix Lead Clip Leader and the Basix Lead Clip Action Pack assembly kit. The rig package also includes bait stops, both standard and hair-extending, so you can effectively use a wide range of carp baits.
The size 8 hook rig has a hair length suited for 12mm diameter baits, size 6 is suitable for 15mm baits, and size 4 is the perfect choice for 18mm boilies.
