Why should you use polarized sunglasses?:
Vertical light waves reflected off objects bend and change their orientation to horizontal, turning into glare. Polarized sunglasses block horizontal light waves reflected off surfaces such as water or clouds. This allows us to see much more beneath the water surface, especially on sunny days when light rays penetrate deep into the depths of water, but the reflected light from the surface prevents us from seeing what's hidden underneath.
