Why should you use polarized sunglasses?
Vertical light waves reflected from objects bend and change their orientation to horizontal, becoming glare. Polarized sunglasses block these horizontal reflected light waves from surfaces such as water or clouds. As a result, we can see much more beneath the water surface, especially on sunny days when the light rays penetrate deeply into the water, and the reflected light from the surface prevents us from seeing what lies beneath the water.
