Buzz Bars
Buzz Bar is a simple crossbar with threaded heads, which allows the attachment of multiple bite alarms or rear rod rests such as butt grips. Buzz Bars are used with every carp rod pod, but there are also many models on the market designed for use with rod rests. The advantage of using Buzz Bars is that they enable quick fishing, as they are often transported to the water with bite alarms and rod rests already attached. Then all that is needed is to mount it to a Rod Pod or a bankstick.
There are several types of buzz bars available on the market that can accommodate 2, 3, or more rods. Buzz Bars are also divided into models with a single screw thread for screwing into a bankstick or two threads, known as the Goal Post setup, which is definitely more stable on soft ground.
Just like with rod rests or Rod Pods, there are models on the market made from powder-coated aluminum, or the more luxurious and durable stainless steel.
