The Insulated Bivvy Mat is designed to create a barrier against damp and cold ground. It is made from durable, waterproof material that can be easily cleaned in the event of any dirt or debris. It is particularly useful for fishing without a groundsheet (or when using shelters such as the Tempest Air, Tempest Brolly, or MC-60 Brolly, which have only 3/4 or half a groundsheet). The Insulated Bivvy Mat can be used in muddy conditions to ensure a clean spot to place your feet when sitting or entering/exiting your bed. Another practical use for the mat is to place it underneath your bed while sleeping, where it acts as a barrier between the damp, cold ground and the bottom of the bed.

When fishing with a standard groundsheet, the mat can be used as a place to set down dirty boots or to remove boots before getting into bed, ultimately helping to keep your tent clean.

The Insulated Bivvy Mat is supplied with a drawstring carry bag for easier transportation, and if you look inside this bag, you'll find four small pegs that can be used to secure the mat in place, if needed.
