The XS CMT series is characterized primarily by its extremely compact transport length, thanks to its semi-telescopic construction. Despite this design, the rod does not lose its properties and remains as effective as a standard, two-piece carp rod. The split handle is equipped with a thick, rubber grip that protects the rod blank from damage caused by hitting concrete edges of urban fisheries. The rod's telescopic section also has protection against damage, especially during packing for transport. The guides used in the construction of the rod are TDG Seaguides, which are lighter and have a larger inner diameter than standard guides used in this type of rods. The manufacturer includes a neoprene XS Rod Protector, which sufficiently protects the tip section, joints, and handle from damage during transport.
