This model utilizes advanced technology for electrically bonding fibers during the resin curing process, giving the rod blank great strength with a very slender profile. Despite the significant power and fast action of the Horizon X6 Ti rod, the designers have ensured proper performance during the fight, minimizing the risk of the hook pulling out, especially in the final stage of the fight, while still providing incredible enjoyment. What definitely distinguishes the Horizon X6 Ti model are the top-quality, modern American Tackle Ti-Forged Pentalite Titanium guides. The combination of ultra-light, titanium guides with a pentalite ceramic ring offers less resistance and is the lightest possible combination currently available, while maintaining abrasion resistance like traditional ceramic rings. This means that the rod during casting is not burdened with additional grams as in standard guides, allowing for a faster casting motion, and achieving a much quicker "dampening" of the blank.
