The sensor utilizes special PIR technology, which operates by detecting infrared radiation emitted from sources such as body heat from humans or animals. This method is far more effective than traditional motion sensors, which often deliver unwanted false alarms, such as those caused by tree branches moving in the wind. The sensor has a detection range of approximately 7m and a 120° angle, which effectively covers a large area of your fishing spot and reliably informs you of any unwelcome visitors. The Smart Alarm boasts an impressive signal range to the receiver, about 150m, and a battery life of 100 hours.
