Monofilament Rig Material
Monofilament material is a type of line that consists of a single fiber and is one of the basic materials used in fishing. Currently, the market offers a wide range of monofilament materials used in many different carp fishing techniques. Abrasion resistance, stiffness, and low visibility in water are the main features of this material.
Monofilament rig material in carp fishing is most commonly used in the creation of stiff rigs or rigs combined with soft braid, known as Combi Rig. Monofilament is also frequently used in the recently popular Chod Rigs.
Monofilament is the first choice for carp anglers fishing on the surface or using the Zig-Rig method. Lines adapted to this method are suitably soft, light, and less visible in the water.
