Fox Edges Tapered Leader - Tapered Mainline
The Fox tapered leader features a conical design. One end is thinner than the other. The thinner end is tied to the mainline, resulting in a smaller knot and thus making casting with this setup easier. Conversely, the thicker side is closer to the rig, where it's most susceptible to damage.
Specifications:
- The taper allows the use of a heavy leader with a small knot connecting it to the mainline. This makes achieving longer casts possible.
- Low memory and low stretch.
- High abrasion resistance.
- The spool contains 3 tapered leaders, each 12 meters in length.
- Available in strengths from 12-30lb (0.33mm-0.50mm) and 16lb-35lb (0.37mm-0.57mm).
