Fox Exocet Double Tapered Mainline
The Fox Double Tapered line is a true winner in the eyes of carp anglers and is considered the best in its class, particularly on fisheries where the use of traditional shock leaders is prohibited. It features an 8-meter strong section with a breaking strain of 35lb (0.50mm), which then tapers down over the next 6 meters to a mainline with a breaking strain of 12lb (0.30mm) or 15lb (0.33mm). This is followed by a 272-meter section of the mainline at 12lb or 15lb breaking strain, which again tapers up to a 35lb breaking strain (consisting of a 6-meter tapered section and an 8-meter section of 35lb).
