The mainline designed for one purpose - extreme distance casting! Its specifications ensure that you will always get a better result compared to a standard line. Longchuck is completely transparent, containing no dye to add color. This means that no molecular structural changes, which can negatively affect the line's performance, have occurred - it doesn't stretch like colorful lines do. Additionally, dye is heavier than pure mono material, which automatically increases the mass of the line, creating more air resistance - therefore shortening the cast distance. The slight stretchability of the line excellently transfers the power from the rod blank to the weight, which significantly increases casting distance. The line's water absorption has also been reduced, leading to a better feeling of the cast rig. High knot strength relative to diameter is another strong asset that makes Longchuck the choice for reels used for distance casting.
