Fluorocarbon as a mainline! Fluorocarbon is highly dense and invisible in water, making it invaluable in certain situations - especially in clear waters. Another major advantage is its abrasion resistance, which is indispensable in fisheries with lots of underwater hills, snags, and obstacles. The proper structure of fluorocarbon prevents the accumulation of dirt on its surface, ensuring that it maintains its properties for many seasons of use. Personally, I've experienced the superiority of fluorocarbon over regular monofilament when fishing for wary carp near the bank on what's known as 'slack line'. Its proper adherence to the bottom and complete invisibility in the water meant that the fish were not spooked, leading to a significantly higher number of bites.
