This hook features a medium-length shank and a straight point angled inwards, which enhances the rotation speed during the take and ensures a strong hold in the fish's mouth. The pointed design, when used in conjunction with the Pole Position Aligner, significantly increases the hook's efficiency in penetrating the fish's mouth by making it more "aggressive." All Pole Position hooks have been coated with a layer of PTFE Teflon, giving them a matte finish that eliminates light reflections and provides a smoother surface. Combined with the long and exceptionally sharp point, it ensures high hooking efficiency even with the most delicate takes. Pole Position hooks are produced in collaboration with the highly recognized Japanese brand Gamakatsu, known for their high-quality hooks.
