Gardner CAMO Lead Coating Powder - Textured
The Gardner brand carp fishing weight dye powder is a simple way to create your own coating on carp weights. You can choose from three available colours: green, brown, and grey with a textured finish (there are also variants in a smooth finish). The powder can be used on its own or create unique colours by mixing different combinations.
Instructions for use (powders with Textured Powder texture):
1. Using pliers, heat the lead over a small flame until it becomes hot enough for the powder to start melting on it.
2. Then roll the lead in the powder until it is evenly coated.
3. Hang the lead on a paper clip and put in a preheated 200°C oven for 5 minutes to harden the coating.
4. Repeat this process a second time without hardening.
5. Then, using pliers, immerse it in water to cool and harden the coating.
