Additionally, the clip is engineered to ensure that, regardless of the chosen lead weight mounting option, if the rig breaks, the fish can always easily free itself from the clip. The metal loop, to which the weight is attached, is highly durable—something we appreciate when casting at long distances or dealing with big weights that cause tremendous strain. This metal loop is also invaluable during long-distance bait boat deliveries with heavy leads. Included with the clip is a size 8 quick-change QC swivel for rapid rig changes, though it can be replaced with any size 8 Ridgemonkey swivel of your choice.
