Gardner Covert Safety Beads
The Gardner Covert Safety Beads are essential for helicopter/chod rig setups. They can also be used in creating running rigs or for marking the lakebed. Made from a flexible, durable rubber material, they are available in popular camouflaging C-Thru colors. The Safety Beads feature a notch that allows them to slide off knots easily, making them safe for the fish in the event of a break-off with the rig.
To rigidly secure the bead on the leader in a helicopter/chod setup, fit a small section of 0.5mm silicone tubing over the leader and slide the bead onto it.
