Gardner Covert Fused Loop Leader

The semi-transparent leader, which thanks to its coloration, blends exceptionally well with the lakebed. The leader consists of an outer layer available in 3 popular colors that allow for perfect camouflage matching to any type of bottom. Inside there is a heavy and abrasion-resistant fluorocarbon core, which helps to lie flat against the bottom and also prevents wear from sharp rocks or mussel colonies. Both loops are connected with a weld, ensuring high durability. A size 8 swivel with a quick-change clip, suitable for creating a rig with a safety lead clip, is attached to one of the loops. Upon removal from the packaging, the manufacturer recommends stretching the leader, which ensures it lays correctly on the bottom and prevents tangling of the rig.

To properly join the leader with the mainline, the manufacturer recommends using the following knots:

Connection with monofilament - Figure 8 Loop Knot

Connection with braid - Bimini Twist Loop or Figure 8 Loop Knot with additional whipping
