Nash Claw Cracker Bait Protector
The Claw Cracker shrink tube is a godsend at fisheries where large populations of crayfish or catfish can be a nuisance by nibbling away at the hookbaits. Simply cut the tube to the appropriate width, slip it over the bait and use hot steam to shrink it tightly around the bait. To enhance the effectiveness of the Claw Cracker, it’s advisable to use two pieces of the tube, positioned at 90 degrees to each other. This ensures full protection of the bait in the most challenging conditions. The tube is perforated, allowing the bait to continue to work effectively in the water. The tube can also be used to slow down the breakdown of attraction from the pellet bait.
NOTE: When using steam to shrink the tube fitted over the bait, it is recommended to thread it on a needle to avoid the risk of burns!
