Korda Lead Clips for Weights
Secure Korda clips designed for use with lead weights on swivels. They can be directly mounted on the main line, anti-tangle tubing, leaders, leadcore, or helicopter rigs - there are indeed many options. The safety clip allows the weight to disengage during a take or if a fish becomes snagged. Once the lead is ejected, the fish instinctively moves away from the bottom towards the mid-water or surface, avoiding underwater snags and vegetation. The safety clip is compatible with most of the carp swivels available on the market in size 8. To properly install a safety clip, you should also equip yourself with Tail Rubbers.
To be absolutely sure that the weight will disengage during a take, do not tighten the Tail Rubber onto the clip all the way!
