SHIMANO Ultegra XTD Carp Reel

An extraordinary version of the popular Ultegra, crafted in a minimalist style without any unnecessary adornments. The reel comes with two aluminum spools (1x spare) and a full range of spool capacity reducers, which are essential for today's carp anglers to fish comfortably. There are two sizes available - 5500 and 14000. The smaller one comes with two reducers reducing the spool to 3500 size, while the larger one has four reducers adjusting the spool size down to 3500 or 10000. Thanks to these, the angler can easily switch the type of line used and fully adapt to the conditions at the fishery. The multi-disc Instant Drag brake allows for a smooth transition from a completely free spool to full engagement with just a 180-degree turn of the brake knob, thus providing the ability to immediately start playing the fish. The new Ultegra XTD is also equipped with technological solutions such as Parallel Body - positioning the body of the reel in the perfect plane relative to the rod, X-Ship bearing drive - ensuring power and efficiency during the fight, Super Slow 5 oscillation - providing line lay of 50 wraps per one oscillation cycle, and Maintenance Port - allowing for lubrication of internal mechanisms without disassembling the reel. We have no doubt that the Ultegra XTD will be a sales hit.
