The Shimano POWER AERO 14000 XSC PG carp reel features a low gear ratio, ensuring unmatched power! With a gear ratio of 3.5:1, it retrieves less line per crank turn but, as a result, the reel's power is significantly increased. The use of a lower gear ratio also contributes to the longevity of its components, as they are less stressed during use. Therefore, the PG model is dedicated to carp anglers fishing in the toughest conditions, mainly with bait boats, where gear strength is crucial during the fight with strong carp in snags or dense vegetation. The HAGANE components with X-Ship drive and Silentdrive ensure the highest smoothness of operation, both during free spinning and while fighting a fish under challenging conditions. Thanks to the reel's alignment with the rod through the Parrarel Body design, the main line's friction during casting is minimized.
