Shimano BeastMaster 10000XB Reel
The Beastmaster XB is the newer version of the well-known Beastmaster XTA/XSA Big Pit reel. At its price point, anglers get a high-performance mechanism with great power and resistance to heavy loads. The 10000 size spool holds 400 meters of 0.35mm diameter line, which is sufficient for both carp fishing and surfcasting. The new Beastmaster is equipped with an Instant Drag brake with a smooth range of adjustment. 2 high-quality bearings are more than enough to provide our reel with smooth and reliable operation, and a gear ratio of 4.6:1 with a line retrieve of about 100cm per crank handle turn delivers powerful winding capability. The new, refreshed design will convince anyone - a matte black combined with grey inserts - and will additionally ensure that this reel perfectly matches the majority of rods available on the market.
