The surfcasting reel has been designed to be as light as possible while simultaneously being maximally strong. Equipped with the new X-Protect sealing system that guards the internal mechanisms with a labyrinthine construction, the Fliegen SD endures even the toughest conditions and operates smoothly. Our new Big Pit reel also features an ultra-light CI4+ rotor, X-Ship supported drive, and the new Hi-Speed Drag brake. The light, metal body is crafted following the HAGANE concept to ensure the best power and efficiency and to protect the internal mechanisms from damage. Other features that distinguish the Fliegen SD from competitors include the cold-forged HAGANE gear and the G-Free Body design, in which the center of gravity is shifted towards the angler's hand, guaranteeing a lower perceived weight. At the same time, the design is made with the Parrallel Body system, allowing for longer casts thanks to the better positioning of the reel in relation to the rod line.
