SHIMANO Ultegra XTD Carp Reel
An extraordinary version of the popular Ultegra, crafted in a minimalist style without unnecessary embellishments. The reel comes equipped with two aluminum spools (1x spare) and a range of spool reducers, indispensable for the modern carp angler who wishes to fish with comfort. Two sizes are available - 5500 and 14000. The smaller one includes two reducers that change the spool size to 3500, while the larger includes four reducers changing the spool to sizes 3500 or 10000. Thanks to these, anglers can easily switch the type of line being used and fully adapt to the conditions at the fishery. The multi-disc Instant Drag brake allows for a smooth transition from a completely released spool to full pressure with just a 180-degree turn of the drag knob, thus providing the possibility of immediately starting the fight. The new Ultegra XTD also features technological solutions such as Parallel Body - positioning the reel body in the perfect plane relative to the rod, X-Ship bearing support for drive - ensuring strength and efficiency during the fight, Super Slow 5 oscillation - offering winding at the rate of 50 turns per spool oscillation cycle, and a Maintenance Port - allowing for lubrication of internal mechanisms without the need to disassemble the reel construction.
