Okuma LS-8K 8000 Reel with Baitfeeder System
The legendary carp reel 8K from Okuma has finally been released with a baitfeeder version. The body is made of graphite, which ensures high durability and also prevents corrosion. The baitfeeder system with a precise drag allows for the setting of its power. The durable, aluminum bail wire with a bearing-mounted line roller combined with a large spool stroke and carefully selected oscillation ensures smooth line winding and release - especially important for casting at longer distances. The solid interior of the reel is based on a brass gear shaft, and the worm shaft spool advance guarantees its longevity and precision. A high gear ratio of 5.3:1 results in a considerable line retrieval of 120cm per handle turn - particularly useful when fishing at extremely long distances. The reel is finished in a black color and features a wooden handle that excellently complements its appearance.
