Electric Motors
An electric motor allows you to propel floating devices such as pontoons or boats. The motor is a great convenience, enabling you to comfortably cover often several kilometers of distance on the fishing ground.
USEFUL FEATURES IN ELECTRIC MOTORS
Currently, the market offers electric motors made with technology that allows for significant battery energy savings, namely the so-called maximizer. In addition, many motors are equipped with a display indicating the current voltage of the battery as well as its percentage charge. It is important for the motor to have an efficient mounting system to the boat's transom, which will allow quick adjustment of the motor column and propeller settings to maximize the motor's power.
POWER OF THE ELECTRIC MOTOR
When selecting an electric motor, it is important to ensure it provides enough power to propel the floating device. This power is most often expressed in lbs, which indicates the maximum thrust force the motor can generate. Electric motors with a power of around 34-40lbs are dedicated to smaller pontoons and boats (200-240cm), while more powerful models (45lbs and above) generate sufficient power to propel floating vehicles over 250cm in length.
Choose the right electric motor for your pontoon and enjoy the convenience of use!
